What Are the Golden Tickets For?

Every Golden Ticket is an entry into the Shop Local Express prize drawings. At the end of the campaign, the Griffin + Spalding Chamber of Commerce will draw winners for prizes. The more Golden Tickets you earn, the more chances you have to win!

Shop Local Express FAQ

Do I have to make a purchase to participate?
No. Finding the hidden train and completing the social media challenge is one way to participate. Making a purchase of $10 or more is a separate way to earn a Golden Ticket.
Can I earn two Golden Tickets at one stop?
Yes! Complete the train-finder challenge and make a purchase of $10 or more during the same visit to earn two Golden Tickets.
What do I do with my Golden Ticket?
Fill out your Golden Ticket with your name, phone number, and email address, then follow the submission instructions provided at the participating stop. Each completed ticket counts as one entry into the Shop Local Express prize drawings.
How will I know if I win?
The Griffin + Spalding Chamber of Commerce will contact winners using the information provided on their Golden Ticket.
How long do I have to respond if I win?
Winners must respond to the Chamber within 48 hours of being contacted. If a winner does not respond within that time, another Golden Ticket will be drawn.
Are the train-finder perks the same at every business?
No. Each participating business chooses its own special perk, so part of the fun is discovering what each stop has waiting for you.
What do I need to include when I post the hidden train?
Post a photo with the hidden train, tag the participating business, and include #ShopLocalExpressGriffin. We also encourage you to tag the Griffin + Spalding Chamber of Commerce so we can follow your journey along the Express!
