Professional Bio
As the newly appointed Resource Development Director at United Way of Central Georgia & Griffin-Spalding County United Way, I am excited to contribute to impactful community-driven initiatives by leveraging my nearly two decades of experience in nonprofit management. With a demonstrated history of successful leadership in nonprofit organizations, I specialize in fundraising, marketing management, event planning, and community service, all aimed at making a lasting difference in the communities I serve.
Prior to this role, I served as Administrator at ESG Engineering after relocating to Macon in 2023. My professional journey has been deeply rooted in the nonprofit sector, where I held the Executive Director position for nearly 17 years. During that time, I honed my skills in developing community partnerships, driving fundraising efforts, and overseeing strategic initiatives that uplift underserved populations.
In addition to my professional roles, I am an active member St. Francis Episcopal Church. My community involvement extends further through the Cordele Rotary Club where I served as the Public Relations Chair, and my previous board service with the Crisp County Community Council, the Crisp County Mental Health Strategy Team, The Gateway Center, and the Cordele Rotary Club.
I hold an Associate’s degree in Marketing from South Georgia College which laid the foundation for my passion for business, marketing, and community engagement.
Driven by a commitment to strengthening community resources and fostering sustainable growth, I look forward to connecting with professionals who share a passion for creating positive change.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my children, reading (and Book Club), record collecting, traveling, and visiting museums.
