Refund & Cancellation Policy

Sometimes life happens, please read our policy on cancellations.

Thank you in advance for understanding the cancellation policy.  Please note registration and cancellation deadlines on all invitations. 

The Griffin+Spalding Chamber of Commerce reserves the right to refuse/cancel registrations. If you are refused a registration, registrants will be offered a refund.

Event Cancellation by Chamber
The Griffin+Spalding Chamber of Commerce reserves the right to cancel an event due to low enrollment, inclement weather or other circumstances which would make the event non-viable. If the Chamber cancels an event, registrants will be offered a full refund. Should circumstances arise that result in the postponement of an event, registrants will have the option to either receive a full refund or transfer registration to the same event at the new, future date.

In the case of inclement weather,and an event is cancelled, registrants will be notified by email and it will be posted on the Chamber website and on our Facebook page.

Registration Cancellation by Participant
Unless specifically stated on registration materials, the deadline to receive a refund for an event is four business days before the event.  Payments are collected in advance for most events.  Due to the cost of events, those with reservations who do not show and who do not cancel their reservation will be invoiced.  Cancellations will be accepted in writing only and must be received by the stated cancellation deadline.  Cancellation requests must go to the griffinchamber@cityofgriffin.com address only.

These above policies apply to all Chamber events unless otherwise noted in the corresponding event materials. Please read all individual event information thoroughly.

Full refunds are available prior to the final registration date.  After this date we will have turned in information to caterers or event planners and pre-pay for those registered. After the registration date, you may send an alternate individual to your event without additional charges. 

Refunds less a $30 cancellation fee will be given for cancellations received in writing after the registration deadline.
