“In considering upcoming meetings and events, The Griffin+Spalding Chamber of Commerce is monitoring the threat posed to health by the COVID-19 virus, including updates and recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, as well as state and county health departments.

While each Chamber gathering will continue to be evaluated on a case-by-case basis, all events planned for March 16-25 will be rescheduled to a later date. Anyone who thinks they may be sick should see https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/…/about/steps-when-sick.html and, as recommended by the CDC, stay home. For prevention guidelines, please review https://www.cdc.gov/…/2019-…/about/prevention-treatment.html.

We wish to further encourage anyone symptoms including a fever and signs of respiratory illness such as coughing or difficulty breathing to not attend public events. The same should apply to anyone who has recently traveled to an area where there is a concentration of illness. See https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/cases-in-us.html for updates on areas most affected.
Thank you for your cooperation.”
