The City of Griffin partners with the Griffin Downtown Council and Griffin Main Street Program to host 2nd Saturday events to support small businesses. The monthly events encourage locals, and those from surrounding communities, to shop, dine, and explore all Downtown Griffin has to offer while enjoying themed activities, live music, and more! Get ready for the largest beach party in town- thanks to the City of Griffin, Griffin Downtown Council, and many community sponsors!
Join us in Downtown Griffin on Saturday, June 6th, from 3pm to 10pm for the June Jam Beach Party, presented by United Bank.
At 3pm, the family can hit the sand and enjoy tunes from DJ DeAndre, delicious food trucks, and beach games- with 80+ tons of sand on Solomon Street, in front of Historic City Hall, for the largest beach party in town.
Live music will begin at 6pm with local favorite Matt Floyd, with the Goodwood Band taking the stage at 7:30pm.
Want the June Jam VIP Experience? Purchase a table in the VIP area, a Griffin Downtown Council fundraiser to help support free events downtown throughout the year. The table is $125 and includes reserved seating for eight people, table linens, and a cash bar. The VIP area is at the Park at Sixth from 3pm to 10pm. Guests will check in at the corner of South 6th Street and Solomon Street to receive their VIP wristband and table number.
