There is only two hour parking on the street, so please park in one of the lots at either end of the building. Main Entrance is off West Broad Street.
From Pike County
. Travel Hwy 19N to intersection of Hwy. 19 at Ingles and McDonald’s.
. Continue through this traffic light all the way to downtown.
. Hwy. 19 turns into Hill St.
. Continue through downtown crossing over Taylor Street (Hwy. 16). Go two blocks and you will see the Welcome Center on your left.
From Lamar County
. Travel north on 19-41 to intersection where Ingles and McDonald’s is located.
. Follow directions listed above.
From 19-41 North
. As you come into Griffin/Spalding on 19-41 look for North Griffin Square (Belk’s), make sure you are in the left lane for a left turn at the traffic light at Hwy. 92 and 19-41.
. This places you on McIntosh Road and at the first traffic light continue straight through on Experiment Street. Experiment Street will merge into Broad Street.
. Continue on Broad through the first light at 10th Street.
. The next light will be at 8th Street and a parking lot to your left.
. You can use this lot to park since it is at the west end of the Welcome Center or continue on Board through the next light and park in the lot directly across the street from the building.
. Entrance to the Building is either from West Broad Street or from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. also on North Hill Street.
From I-75/Butts County
. Take exit 205 and travel west on Highway 16 into Griffin.
. At the center of town, (KFC on your left), turn right onto North Hill Street. The second traffic light is at Hill and Broad. Parking is available across the street from the Welcome Center or in the lot on the other end of the building. Street parking is also available, except during business hours it is limited to 2-hours, not in the evening. Enter the building from West Broad Street.
