Local COVID-19 Test Sites

Posted By: Cynthia K. Tidwell (deleted) Members in the News,
My name is Susie Hammock and I am the Accreditation and Marketing Coordinator for District 4 Public Health, and during this crisis, I am on the Communications Team in our Emergency Operations Center.

As you may have seen from the Governor’s press conference yesterday, we are trying to ramp up our testing efforts throughout the state. In District 4 (Butts, Carroll, Coweta, Fayette, Heard, Henry, Lamar, Meriwether, Pike, Spalding, Troup, and Upson counties) we have two drive-through Specimen Collection Sites (we call them SPOCs). These SPOCs are by appointment only, but they are free, and only take a couple of minutes to get through.

As a community leader, we are asking that you share this flyer within your networks so that we can get the word out that if you are symptomatic, you can be tested, free of charge, at one of our drive through sites.

We appreciate all that you are doing to keep things running in our communities. Please help us to get as many people tested as possible!

Thanks in advance,
Susie Hammock
